  I've been here quite a few times & I'm only impressed by how amazing & CHEAP their food is! I can't recommend this place enough to everyone! Great breakfast food & the tax is included in the price, so, it makes things even better. :) enjoy the 3x3 breakfast.

  Pretty delicious place to grab a weekend breakfast or lunch...kind of a classic greasy spoon inside, which I love. Pretty standard breakfasts and food, prices are reasonable and what you'd expect.

  I've never even heard of Cosys before now! Chris H. use to frequent here, but hasn't in quite some time. I love trying new (to me) places, so, we ventured out of our way to get some home-style breakfast in our tummies!
  
  You could walk by and not even realize this place existed. It's tucked around a corner with hardly any visibly appealing signage - but, whatever they do works, because when we arrived around 7:30am, there were about a dozen people in the small restaurant.
  
  Chris recommended the breakfast club, so that's what I got. You have a choice, bacon or ham; I got bacon, but the pictures with ham looked pretty good too! It's like your traditional club sandwich but with a fried egg and a breakfast meat! It was super good! And, it came with a heaping side of home-fries, enough to share!
  
  I'd definitely go back to this mom-and-pop joint! Prices were great and the service was spectacular!

  I'd give here a 3.5 I think.  Tried here for breakfast on a sunny Saturday in March.  When I arrived, there was a family with six or seven people who pushed two tables together, and myself in a booth.  Four booths and four tables altogether I believe I counted, plus bar seating, for a maximum capacity of probably 25 or so?  Typical old-fashion diner with lots of natural light, a bunch of Montreal Canadien decor, daily specials written on white boards.  Two young girls were working the place that day and were very friendly.  I tried the Breakfast Clubhouse (your standard club plus egg) which was quite good, and the home fries were very good, although I couldn't finish them.  My coffee was topped up constantly.  I don't see their menu online but think this was $10.  I came back again on the following Wednesday with a friend for lunch and there were two tables taken at the time, with an older woman running the place.  She wasn't quite as friendly as the young girls, but still fine.  I tried the Clubhouse Pita ($11 I think), which was good although basic.  The portion was quite big, almost double what I expected, so I ate half and took half home.  It didn't come with fries so I had to order a side of small fries, which were frozen and average.  My total bill came to $18, so this seems a fair bit more expensive than the breakfast that I enjoyed on my first visit.  My friend's Hot Hamburger Sandwich was decent and flavorful, but not memorable.  The juices from some side vegetables ran into the bottom slice of bread, so he used a napkin to keep the sandwich from getting too soggy.  I was planning on ordering a slice of blueberry pie for dessert but was too full.  My most recent breakfast was very good with just bacon, eggs, toast & hashbrowns.  There were a couple of regular customers there at the time and a lot of funny banter going on between them and the two girls working, so the place has a real neighborhood feel.  I would come back here anytime though. .

  This one of the "Greasy Spoons" here in the west end of Halifax. I am not using the term in the negative way. I love these gems, who seem to be disappearing, the wake of condos and trendy gastro pubs. I love the down home feel of Cosy's layout, booth or counter or tab. Sometimes it is hard to find a spot.
  The food is the regular fare of a restaurant,  burgers, sandwiches, etc. All made pretty quick, and nice and favourable. The 3x3x3 breakfast is a wonderful breakfast. Very friendly service, only issue I have  with Cosy is the hours, wish they were open alittle longer. If you are in the area, and need a burger or a early breakfast, head on over.
